Abstract   |   Authors   |   References
The article focuses on the dynamics of employment quality characteristics for workers from families with a different number of children. The relevance of the study is determined by the role of employment in the formation of material security of families with children, having the risks of poverty and low security, which increase with growing dependency burden on working families. The empirical base of the study is formed by the data of the Russian Monitoring of the Economic Situation and Health of the Population of the National Research University Higher School of Economics, covering 2018–2022. The article reveals insignificant dynamics in the characteristics of the quality of employment of workers from families with children in the period under consideration, including regardless of the number of children in families, in panel and time series analysis. The research shows the features of the dynamics of the employment quality characteristics when using dynamic analysis: when the size and composition of families with children change: in the transition from childless to one-child families, from one-child to two-child families, from two-child to many-child families, including taking into account the year of a child’s birth. The paper identifies the features of changes in the working week duration at the birth of the first, second and third child in the families of workers (differentiated for men and women), as well as subjectively perceived quality of employment (satisfaction with work in general, working conditions, remuneration). We record a more noticeable increase in satisfaction with work in general and working conditions at the appearance of the first and third child compared to the appearance of the second child. At the same time, the work proves that satisfaction with labor remuneration decreases at the birth of the first child and increases at the birth of the second and third child. The research results can be in demand in the actualization of demographic and employment policies
